As of Thursday evening, however, the curse is no more! Our hero Rosa negotiated her way through the cards with all the calmness of a mill pond on a particularly still spring morning. Much excitement ensued as she took home the £160 jackpot, to the delight of her teammates and competitors alike. Congratulations Rosa!

In the quizzing stakes, a large number of smaller teams made it a low-scoring, yet competitive affair - as you can see on the right hand side of this page, only two points separating the top three teams. Special mention goes to ‘Send Help’. They only had eyes for the wine that goes to our second-to-last team here at The Plough, and they won just that!
