Baaaaaa-Hamas!

When people realised that was the answer to a cryptic clue tonight, the facial expressions were priceless. That's what quizzes do, though, right? They can stump you so badly, and when you realised the answer was right there in front of your face, it falls off. Your face does.

The Plough was on fire tonight! Teams were right there behind one another, points-wise. At the end of it all, a tie-breaker was needed to split the two teams in first place. Uber was a huge help with that. Uber and LA and San Fran. The team placed second were thrilled to bits with their Jammy Dodgers - sponsored by the team who came first.

And the wine winners - pleased as punch. Youngsters who'd never heard of Cranium, but were very into Resident Evil.

The Plough is just special. The people are amazing. And I met a feisty, happy, lickey Staffie puppy. So, that was pretty marvelous too.
