Nine Get A Christmas Bonus!

Sounds like the title of an Enid Blyton children's book but it's not! Last night at The Pilot in Chiswick, eleven teams competed for a fifty pound bar tab voucher with two bonus drink prizes and a bottle of wine for the team coming second to last.
"The PV Refugees" were victorious with a score of thirty six points whilst a very young team, "Quizlamic State", won a bottle of white wine.
Then after winners had been announced, it was time for the jackpot game. Teams were asked a question and the team that produced an answer nearest to the correct one won the chance to have a crack at the jackpot (£271).
"Quizlamic State" was the team which got the chance to play the jackpot game and in fact won it! Nine team members each went home about £30 richer. Well done to the team and a very Happy New Year to all quizzers!
