A lovely evening in Kennington tonight at the Pilgrim, a great place to quiz—even if I'm only filling in. The teams fought hard against questions about Greek language and geography (yes, at the same time) as well as Rupert the Bear's friends, a certain fox and a certain pug. In the end, Old Dumb and Broke proved 1 out of 3 ain't bad, as they won the quiz (not dumb) and thereby won a £50 bar tab (not broke). Meanwhile, St. Petersburg narrowly pipped the Geezers to the bottle of wine and—in a beautiful run of cards—Just Jonk took home the whopping £200 jackpot! Woot, congrats people! But don't worry, next week's jackpot is £100—nothing to sneeze at.
