Groom Vs Bride! Geese Are Ducks Lose The Jackpot!

Tonight's quiz at The Pilgrim was very much defined by two houses, both alike in dignity - Bride Squad competing versus The Grooms. Their cheerful and enthusiastic rivalry was a fun diversion throughout the quiz and we all had a lot of laughs! In fact, The Grooms won the entire quiz with 38 points, with teams Charlie's In and Geese Are Ducks coming in second and third, respectively. Our second to last bottle of wine was decided by a mere half point and went to the team 3 English and 1 Spanish! Finally, team Geese Are Ducks (or D*cks even, but they graciously accepted my absurdist name suggestion) played for the jackpot, but about three cards in their luck has turned. The jackpot will roll over until next week, with £200 awaiting the lucky winners. Hope you can join us then!
