Debden Contains Bed Backwards. Space Cadets Win!

Nine teams played for victory at The Pilgrim tonight! We learned that Debden contains "bed" backward, Tinie Tempah has one more no.1 single than Dizzee Rascal (some strong reactions to that one!) and Ripley was born in 2092. While all teams played with single-minded determination, the honour fell upon team 'Space Cadets', who won with amazing 37 points, leaving behind the runners-up 'Periodic Table Dancers' (33.5) and '2 Can Be As Bad As 1' (30). Some teams decided to aim for that trusty bottle of wine, and quiz regulars 'Ciderphobia' were successful in that - they are not wine-phobic in the slightest! Team 'The Legal Eagles' got to play for the jackpot and got as far as 4 cards in - fingers crossed for next time. We missed you in the room, so hope to see you next week!
