It was a full house down at the Perseverance tonight with pizzas and pints plenty as the quiz teams settled down to do battle. The first major victory of the evening went to 'As Much Chance As Theresa May's Deal' for their especially colorful depiction of Monsieur Bonaparte grabbing the two bonus points whilst I'm not reading that out... took the single for their metrosexual depiction of the great man. The bonus anagram point was snaffled in record time by 'M and S'. At the end of the evening, we had a tie break for the second to last place bottle of house wine prize between 'Quiz-tian & Friends' and 'E2'. It was the former that phased in just slightly closer to the target to take a lovely red home. The tie at the other end of the table was more easily resolved thanks to the swollen ranks of 'Les Quizerables' resulting in a penalty point deduction leaving 'The Grieve Amendment' to take the top prize £50 bar tab.
