It was a rowdy beginning to the quiz tonight as teams bubbled over with excitement but soon all settled to with their eyes upon the prize. The three top teams finished all within a hair's breadth of each with but a half point separating them. Ultimately it was regulars 'Peartree Production' who took the top prize £50 bar tab. Meanwhile, at the other end of the table newbies, 'Faber' scooped up the bonus house wine and went for a lovely bottle of red. The chance to play for the jackpot went to 'Plad'. A drum roll echoed round as they drew their straw but it wasn't the short one so the jackpot goes to a rollover.
