The Christmas menus are out which means Autumn is definitely here and with the rain what better way to spend your Monday than in the cosy confines of the Perseverance. Old rivals ⭐🕷️ and Pear Tree Productions 🍐 were tied in the top spot as we went into the break but perhaps it was the lack of puppy power that held the latter back as the webbed wonders surged ahead to take to the top prize £50 bar tab. The second to last place house wine prize went to Quizlamic State who selected a lovely red to soothe their minds. The chance to play for the jackpot went to ⭐🕷️ but sadly the joker popped up straight away so we rollover to next week where the jackpot will still remain at it's cap of £200 but number of cards to play against will drop by one a week until someone puts that dosh in their pocket.
