Three teams fought it out at the Moretown Belle tonight for the £50 bar tab. Questions on Egyptian geography (What country borders it to the west?) and Cleopatra (Who fathered her twins?) made tonight's quiz ever-so-slightly Sphinx-ian—apt for any quiz, methinks! A close back and forth after round one had only half a point between the leaders, but in the end "Giles is STACT" (never did find out who "Giles" was) took the prize. The jackpot, however, was not won, so goes up to £140 pounds next week! Come out and try your luck!
