Seems everyone was out doing their Christmas shopping this evening, with only a scant 3 teams vying for the prizes—so yeah, good odds all around. The quiz featured European mythology in the forms of Thor and Orpheus and—as one team put—a rare appearance of a female musician in the picture round. Duly noted. A little more Little Mix is in order, I suppose. In the end, congrats goes to the lovely team whose name we daren't speak, who requested to be known only by their acronym UTSS, who won the £50 bar tab on their first night quizzing with us. They also won a shot at the jackpot to boot, but sadly pushed their luck—into the ground, as it were—faltering on the the fifth card. And so the jackpot goes up once again. Hope all the teams will return to try winning it!
