Five big teams battled it out in what is (obviously) London’s best pub quiz. Duh. The quiz itself seemed determined to taunt and/or tantalise the various sides of the Brexit debate, with questions about Belgium, France, Imperial weights and measures, and the year the UK joined what was then ‘The EEC’. In the end, The Fags Are Back In Town returned with a vengeance, winning the night, while newbie team 2020 Quizzion took home a bottle of red for coming second (to last). After that, we had a £200 jackpot in which We Are Here For The Wine pushed their luck (off a cliff), stumbling on the fourth card. But don’t worry. There’s more where that came from.
