For some fun and for a bonus point teams were given the keyword of ashes from which to link their team names. Clearly unlike the quizmaster who immediately thought of a mythical bird everybody else headed in the direction of the crease or the funeral parlour. Winners of the point as chosen by the bar staff went to the Urns.

We had people jumping up and down, we had hands on heads and bums and we even had their artistic juices flowing in an effort to stimulate the little grey cells and most importantly bonus points.

In the end it was a fantastic evening with the Wicketeers, clear winners.

Great fun for all including some observing Australians who watched in awe at Christopher Walken impersonations and general clowning around of the quizmaster whose ultimate humiliation was to have drawings by the teams of him displayed on the bar for all to see.

You can't beat a bit of self deprecation if want a laugh.
