Three Become One!

Sounds a bit like a Spice Girl's song or was that "Two become one?". However, we are talking quizzing not pop songs and although tie-breaks are not unusual in the world of pub quizzing they are normally between just two teams and not generally for the top prize. Last night though at The Manor Arms in Streatham, three teams ended the quiz with a score of 39.
A three-way tie-break was necessary and after a question about the area of Northern Ireland, the victorious team was 'Marky Mark The Birthday Boy and Three'.
A bottle of wine was the prize for the team coming second to last and this was won by MD a two-person team consisting of mother and daughter. According to this team, it was the first prize they have ever won! Always great to have this happen so well done ladies!
