The weather outside may have been frightful but inside the Manor Arms the six competing teams truly were delightful... and as January comes to an end, we all stayed dry in the warmth of the pub.

It’s a good job that 'Man, I Feel Like A Quiz' felt like a quiz as they won a free drink and a bottle of wine which they’ll be saving for a not dry at all February.

The 'Quizlamic Fundamentalists' missed out on the jackpot but got a free drink too, and, you know, that’s just as good as nearly £90 in cash anyway.

And 'Beyond the Vale' ended with a score that was above and beyond what they needed to win, and so they were the lucky Snowmen, Snowwomen and Snowdog coming away with the top prize.

See you all next week again I hope, so long as we don’t get snowed in!!!
