Ten Top Teams at the Manor Arms - now in Technicolour!

Ten of Streatham’s finest pub quiz teams battled it out at the Manor Arms tonight, with an incredibly tense face off between The Self Righteous Brothers and The MFs who both gained an impressive 40 marks over all.

In the end The Brothers were victorious and gained the top prize of a bar tab, which they promptly spent.

The MFs beat Dorothy and her gang to have the chance to play for the rollover jack pot, which they sadly didn’t win. But both those teams got free drinks questions right, so all was not lost.

The Babbingtonians missed out on the bottle of wine this week with that going to the appropriately named Alcohol is the Solution.

And there was strong work from At Least We Tried (who managed to answer many of the questions correctly while also guessing the Question Masters star sign and favourite colour), Falafally Versatile (who managed to keep their ear drums unburst despite being so close to the speaker), Last and Least (who came neither), Dacky Jamsack (who are all now considering Permanent Curls) and Why Is This Not Speed Dating (who had to leave before the jackpot competition, presumably to go Speed Dating).

A really cracking night - and next week the jank pot is £247 so that’s 247 reasons to get back to the lovely Manor Arms!
