There was a gathering of some of Streatham’s top brains and puzzle solvers tonight at The Manor Arms for a challenging but fun filled quiz.

The Blue Rose Task Force knew their Ice Cubes from their Ice Tea’s and got themselves a drink as a rap reward. And Funky Fresh freshened up with another drink themselves.

While the MF’s got themselves a bottle of wine, perhaps wash their mouths out with?

But the big winners of the night were the Nostalgic Snails, who fought off stiff competition from Mums and Roses to win the main quiz and the chance to play for the jackpot.

The money remained unclaimed though and so rolls over to next week when it will pretty impressively be more than £200.

Come and play and maybe you’ll be going home a couple of tonnes heavier.
