Wow, what a great night of quizzing! Last night's quiz at The King's Arms saw 5 teams battle for the chance of not only winning a £40 bar tab but also a £78 jackpot. Everyone acquitted themselves well. So well in fact that both 'The Sydney Street Rats' and 'Alex and the PA's' tied for first place! There can only be one winner though and ultimately it was 'Alex and the PA's' who came out on top thanks to their great performance in a tiebreak challenge.
Praise must also to 'The Texans' who won the 'the closest to question' for a chance to win the jackpot prize. Although they didn't win the jackpot, they still did an excellent job. Well done guys!
As the jackpot wasn't won it will now roll over to next week where it will stand at a stupendous £96! Will someone have the skills and the knowledge to claim it then? Well, you'll just have to pop along to find out...
