Wales it is then Greg; that'll teach them to be more appreciative!
Nick H
The kids of today eh? Greg does his best making what I'm sure was a significant contribution to another very good win for "Be creative Greg" against some excellent teams, and the kids take all the credit! From one old fogy to one progressing there, that's the way of the world and no doubt you'll have to pay their entry fees next week! Isn't great to have them though.
At the start of the evening, "Neighbours" were suggesting they should get a commemorative wooden spoon for the number of times they have come last, but not on tonight's performance with a very credible 25 points, they didn't even have a sniff at the £20 bar voucher prize for coming second last. With "Chalfont Ladies" not on their usual form this evening and "Soppy but Happy" dropping out prematurely, this prize was gratefully grasped by the exuberant "Gala Girls".
Team names can be a problem when they have to be thought up quickly and similarly can reflect the confidence level of a team. Such was the case with "No team name because were are rubbish!". Well, not so rubbish this evening. Not only did they also get a very credible 25 points, but they also won the closest to question to select from the three remaining Jackpot envelopes and then selected envelope number 6 and accordingly WON THE £189.50 CASH PRIZE. Fantastic.
We do it all again next Tuesday 23rd April; 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start as usual.
