Who'd want to go to the Bernabeu to watch the likes of Ronaldo, Benzema, Marcelo and Bale strutting their stuff and pontificating when you can strut your stuff at the the Jolly farmer and pontificate first hand with notoriety such as "Audrey", "The Dribblers", "Thorzina" and "Desperados". Yes, a lively evening to say the least with "The Dribblers" pipping "Team Bar" and "The Tooth Fairies" by a single point to take the evenings £40 bar and food voucher first prize. The less gregarious and photo-shy "Neighbours" plotted skilfully to finish between "Paws for thought" and "Audrey to secure the £20 bar and food voucher for coming second last. Things may have been different if "Danells" hadn't ordered a Chinese and had to go home to eat it!?!?

Here we go again with just three envelopes left to win the £108.50 Jackpot cash prize. "Thorzina" won the chance to select from envelopes 1, 2 or 10 - why is there a reluctance to select either of the two absolute extremes? - and selected envelope number 2; another "bad luck, try again next week" choice. So, the Jackpot Cash prize increases to £131.50 and again rolls over to next week's Quiz Night at the Jolly Farmer: Tuesday 8th May; 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.
