Serial winners here at The Jolly Farmer in the form of "Crash Test Dummies" tonight found their match this evening as "Lansdown But Not Out" squeezed them out by a single point to take the £40 bar voucher top prize. It has to be said the serial winners choice of team name could be regarded as a touch unsympathetic as one of their team members, a most delightful lady, was involved in a rather unfortunate motor accident on her way to the quiz this evening. Dare I suggest her value to the team was obviously missed and we hope she will be with us again next week.

Team "Nasal Hair" thought the £20 (Luncheon Voucher in their words) bar voucher second prize went to the team coming last and according proved their intent by their score! Well, there's no skill in that. You, of course, need to come second last which needs shrewd strategic skill as demonstrated by the likes of "Just the two of us" and "Chalfont Ladies", but not quite as ably as this week's recipients and first-times, "The Tibble Dribblers". They showed further skills in winning the opportunity to draw from the remaining Jackpot envelopes for the £50 cash prize, but that is where their skill ran out! So, the Jackpot cash prize now increases to £69 and rolls over to next weeks quiz:: Tuesday 4th December; 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start as usual.
