By way of not wanting the above headline to be misleading in any way, that was for the £20 bar voucher prize for coming second last. That said they were fourth as three teams finished last on the same score enabling "Quiz in my Pants" to pick up the booty. That left three previous winners to compete for the main £40 bar voucher prize. "The dizzy sisters", albeit delightful, were a bit dizzy this week and last week's winners, "The team formally known as the Scousers", were distracted with the MUFC v PSG game leaving "Pork Scratchings" to crunch their way through the answers and collect the prize by a clear three points.
The Jackpot elimination required two rounds to isolate a clear winner to draw from the remaining 5 envelopes for the £92 cash prize. First-timers "Just the two of us" ultimately prevailed and selected envelope number 9. Wrong one! So the jackpot cash prize increases to £104.50 and rolls over to next weeks quiz on Tuesday 19th February; 7.00pm for a 7.30 start.
