Pipers Pipers picked the best ripened enough smart apples to win this weeks quiz

It was a glorious night held here in the Jobber's Rest in Upminster, ESSEX which saw 9 glorious and enthusiastic teams who are willing to take on the world of the knowledge and face questions based on general knowledge, they do range from question to question in different categories like sport, drama, fiction, history, showbiz, victoria Beckham, boris Johnson (boring politics) and loads more categories our quizzers were faced tonight in the world of the knowledge.

For Our anagram question this week, our quizzers had to find out a famous name behind a bunch of words and also featuring cryptic questions with this weeks category being related to famous tabletop games. You can definitely think that guess who will be one of them lol.

With all the beer and excitement of the quiz coming to an end. Our second to last prize of £20 bar tab went to crumble who I must say to dog who was the mascot is absolutely the cutest thing you can get in a quiz.

However our top prize went to deadlock with both let's get quizzical and Pipers pipers scoring 34 points in the main quiz. So a tiebreaker question had to be read, our question related to the current world water speed record. The quizzers had to give us to closest to question in MPH and the closest was PIpers Pipers who they're guess was 315mph. So therefore they were our winners on the night and won the big prize of £30 booze & grub!

What a great night we had and before I left the venue the lovely lady representative of Pipers pipers came and inform me that they're prize that they won on the night will be donated to the charity called Friends of Branfil, this is a charity who is a children's charity which is also parent teacher associated and they are a charity who do they're best to raise funds and support resources in playground and sensory equipment. They are having a similar event to us as a pub quiz with the charity in a few weeks which someone can win that same tab we gave out tonight in they're event. I wanted to add that in to this article as I think they do great work and it's great to see businesses, charities coming to celebrate a night in a quiz with us (as well as pub mates, friends and family) who get involved in our quizzes. I think you guys are doing fantastic work and please keep up the good work as your charity is a great cause and all the best on your quiz in a few weeks (give me a shout if you need help)!

But sadly this is Keith's Pub, it sad that I have to go as I was on cover for your quiz this evening but I must say this. Thanks for everything in your quiz tonight, and the honour of hosting your quiz this evening. Thanks to all staff for the hospitality and to the players for a great cracking quiz.
