Merry Quizmas Do It Again

In the final quiz of the year at The Jam Tree, we saw returning trio 'Merry Quizmas' pull out all the stops and move from third place at the end of the first round, behind 'Quizzard of Oz' and 'Yule Be Sorry', and for the second time this Winter sweep the top prize, scoring an impressive 31 points, and beating their opponents by 3 points. This was particularly spectacular, as they were less than half the size of both their main contenders!

While the first of the free drinks questions left everybody guessing for some time, the team captain for 'Yule Be Sorry' managed to answer the second free drinks question before it had been fully uttered! An amazingly switched-on team, it was a pleasure to watch them at work, and we hope to see them back in the new year!
