A Very Merry Quizmas for One Team in Particular

An extraordinary display of general knowledge this evening from the beautiful birthday girl and her all-female team, "Hip Hip Hooray, 34 Today". At half time they were well and truly in the lead, and we all thought they'd won, until 'Merry Quizmas' requested a recount, and we found that their specialist insights into Dutch delicacies, and fabulous displays of cryptic thinking had in fact led them to ultimate victor, with a 3 point advantage! It was with remarkable grace that the birthday team relinquished their title, and we sincerely hope they will be back for a rematch next week. Special mention goes to 'Kinane's Kracked Heels', who managed to finish in the top 3 teams, despite being one man down until half time, when their third member arrived from Denmark(!)
