In contrast to last week, tonight's quiz in The Jam Tree in Clapham was fairly intimate, with four teams going head to head to compete for the all-important Champion's Title, not to mention The Jam Tree's £50.00 bar tab. But while the teams themselves were small, the breadth of knowledge was very wide.

"Billy & the Hoomans" (Billy being an enchanting puppy of 9 months) impressed with their knowledge of popular culture and geography, while "The Chuckle Brothers" showed off their knowledge of sports, Latin and science. But it was "The Jammy Todgers" who demonstrated an extraordinary range of expertise on everything from mocktails to musical theatre, history and flooring, earning them a close, but certain victory.
