9 teams kicked off the first quiz of the non-teens here at The Island Queen tonight.

At the end of the first round the clear frontrunners were MAGNA and The Caitlinettes. (That's two teams, not the name of a band) with a hearty 17. As round two stretched on, however, only MAGNA could maintain their impressive position, winning the grand prize with 36 points.

In second, came the dark horse Quizimodo, with regulars The Reading List winning the second-to-last bottle of wine.

It's a new year, with everything to play for. Can MAGNA maintain their lead? Would we even know? They might change their team name. These are uncertain times.
