A full ten out of ten for fun this week at The Hop Poles. We were packed out due to the jackpot being a whopping £254 and everyone was salivating for a slice of the action.
The night finished with 'Quizzly Bears' retaining their current winning title of first place, regulars 'Quiz on my Face' (formerly 'Andy’s Hair', 'RIP Andy') cane second to last snagging a bottle of wine and the jackpot game...
Newcomers, 'Vulgar Val' (sometimes known as 'Vodka Val') managed to almost exactly guess how far all the London Underground tubes traveled in 2014 and got to pick from three envelopes. Alas they didn’t get the jackpot but we did get to witness a beautiful moment.
Two old men sat on a wall. One named Peter. One named Paul. Yes, our regular (and local celebrity) Pete, was the prize for Paul from 'Vulgar Val' and they shared a beautiful hug.
