After a short summer hiatus, we came back with a vengeance this week with the top floor of Hop Poles packed to the roof with hungry quizzers with a thirst for knowledge (and beer).
The winners of the evening were previous punters, 'Mulan Rouge Karaoke' (I corrected their awful spelling of Karaoke) with a massive score of 34 who took away a £30 bar tab to drink themselves into an early grave.
Second to last was the lovely couple, '2 Irish People Walk Into A Bar', who fully deserved their bottle of wine for being so darn tactical.
The winners of the Jackpot Game (and also the overall last place of the quiz) were a handful of gentlemen who scribbled out whatever their team name was but who ended up not winning the £50 bar tab. They instead got a packet of crisps each which is arguably better than nothing.
Next week the jackpot is £83 so do not miss it!!!
