Double Bubble for Arizona Cardinals and Friends!

I was substitute teacher tonight at Hop and Poles, covering for regular quiz host, Keanan. And oh my days. WHAT A QUIZ! Here's how it went down:
In tenth place we had HALFWAY TO HEAVEN who ended the night on a 10 point average per person - excellent stats, guys. It appeared as though its was going to be a difficult night for JEV 22 WILL DO as they started the quiz having mislaid a pesky five pound note. However, as the quiz progressed, not only did they find their fiver, they also won the second-to-last place bottle of wine! WOO HOO! WHAT A TURNAROUND. Well done girls. WE THOUGHT THIS WAS SPEED DATING and HUMBOLT provided much bantz, despite sitting behind a pillar, and O'CONNOR proved themselves to be very worthy quizzers, finishing mid-table (who cares who Adam Levine is?). In joint second we had gorgeous millennial brain boffins, THE OPPS OPPS, and Philip and his fabulous sons for ALPINE DOGS. But it was a tense battle for first place and KEGGHEADS, WOMB FERRETS and ARIZONA CARDINALS AND FRIENDS all finished the night on an impressive 33 points. After a tricky tie break question, ARIZONA CARDINALS AND FRIENDS, pipped the other's to the post and won the coveted £30 bar tab. BUT, not only that, our winning team also WON £289.00 in the jackpot round. WOWZERS! Well done lads, you really cleaned up this evening. Well done also to the WOMB FERRETS who won both of our bonus drink questions. And massive shout out to Alex, George, Will, Tom and Tom of the KEGGHEADS. Thanks for being so welcoming and showing me the ropes. I reckon it would take some snails 50,000 days to complete the London Marathon - you were robbed.
