A truly mammoth quiz this week at The Hop Poles with a big birthday bash for Wayne taking up half the room for his 30th birthday (looking very good for a 30 year old).
With a huge £327 up for grabs it was indeed a tense night.
In the end, John Burns-Team took the second to last place bottle of wine and the birthday boy himself took the first place prize £30 bar tab.
The Jackpot Game itself, featuring an under appreciated Monty Python based question, was won again by 'Wayne' with a fifty fifty chance of winning the pressure was on.
His birthday luck shone through and he took away £327 for his team (as well as being forced to down a pint of cider and being embarrassed with an awful rendition of happy birthday).
Happy birthday Wayne. Call me sometime!
