Thunderclouds gathered over the Hollybush in Loughton this Sunday. You could cut the atmosphere with a knife, with things threatening to go off at any moment... and that was just the weather! Our teams of regulars assembled and all that was left to say was 'May the odds be ever in your favour'... which everybody correctly guessed was a quote from the 2012 film The Hunger Games. We had no pairs quizzing this evening, three heads (or more!) being better than one and the same could be said for the three headed dog from Greek & Roman Mythology, which a smattering of teams knew was called Cerberus. Finally, though no answers could be submitted on a postcard, only one team knew that the only way Muhammed Ali was getting licked was if he was on a postage stamp. Gym Shark at the bar nicked the £50 bar tab with 35 points and The Wonderful W*nkers nabbed the bottle of wine with 33. There is, however, the not so small matter of the Jackpot which STILL hasn't been won! Come next week for your chance of winning a cool £265!
