Albeit bolstered by their mums, "Any Danger?" still came last

It's great to know that mums will always support their sons regardless of the circumstances, not that it helped "Any Danger?" on this occasion as they along with "A women down!" (literally) succumbed to the dexterity of "Annie's Army" who deservedly took this evenings £20 bar and food voucher prize for having the second least points.

At the other of the scale, there was some pretty good scoring with only four points separating the top five teams. The combining of teams "Heads" and "Tails" from last week into "Heads & Tails" this week proved to much for all-comers this evening and they accordingly took the evenings £40 bar and food voucher first prize.

We had an international contingent this week in the form of "Quality Queens", who won the closest-to question and therefore the opportunity to draw from the five remaining envelopes for the jackpot of £150. Regretfully they drew a blank with envelope number 9 and the jackpot cash prize therefore rolls over to next week's Quiz Night at the Highwayman on Wednesday 14th February (Valentines Day).
