There was another win at The Hare and Billet for The Chris Palmer Trio to chalk up tonight as they fought off a very close challenge from another dominating quiz force. They took home the £50 bar tab first prize with an excellent display that saw them amass 39 points, 1.5 points ahead of closest rivals and fellow quiz regulars Tranquil Jacks (37.5), and The Green Cohorts claimed 3rd place with 34.5 points. As for the bottom end of the table, a very hungover one person team was too hungover to finish this evening’s quiz, so the honour of second last this evening went to Quizzy Lizzies, who bagged a voucher for a bottle wine for their score of 24.5 points.
