In the end, one familiar bunch of regulars added another win to their superb quizzing CV in this epic war of wits. "The Tabasco Fiasco" were top of the heap again here, scoring a fantastic 39 points, winning themselves a richly deserved £50 bar tab. Back in second place were "The Birthday Suits" on 36, and "The Chris Palmer Trio" held onto the “bronze” position on 32, one ahead of "Slartibartfast" in 4th. At the other end of a lengthy table, "Ella’s All-Stars" took home the consolation prize of a voucher for a bottle of wine for the notable achievement of finishing second last.
