There was a battle royale tonight as two familiar names battled it out for supremacy at The Hare and Billet. After 40 questions, there was nothing to separate The Tabasco Fiasco and Slartibartfast, equal as they were on 35 points, both two points ahead of their closest challengers Quizteam & The Queens and MTSF (both on 33). It would therefore have to go to a numerical tiebreaker question to determine this evening’s winners, and so it was that Slartibartfast were only 6 secs away from the correct answer (to the question, how long is Bohemian Rhapsody), and took home the spoils of a very narrow victory and a £50 bar voucher. The prize for second-to-last this evening went to Bumping Berry, who bagged a voucher for a bottle of wine for their 20 point effort.
