It was a more subdued quiz than usual at The Hare and Billet tonight, but no less competitive. This evening’s winners were loyal regulars Slartibartfast, who edged to victory with 33 points, only one ahead of relative newcomers The Implications on 32. It was still enough to win them the £50 bar tab first prize. The prize for second last (a prestigious honour for any quizzer here) went to Bookendz, who bagged a voucher for a bottle of wine for their modest total of 21 points.
