'The Griffin Bellends' Romp Home To Victory

It was another great night of quizzing at the Griffin Belle Vauxhall. A team of just 2 players 'The Griffin Bellends' came first with an impressive 35 points. But the big news of the night came from team 'Salt & Pepper' after winning a free drink question and then by coming 2nd to last winning a bottle of wine they also got the closest to question to play 'Play Your Cards Right' for a chance to win £343 cash!! So with having to get through 9 cards to win the cash, after successfully getting to 3 cards they were offered £43, they chose to go on, then after getting to 6 cards they were offered £93 but with just 3 cards remaining they fancied their chances of winning the lot and took the gamble!! They then got to 8 cards with the 8th card being a 5 so it all came down to the last card, 'It must be higher than a 5 right? WRONG it was a 3!!
A gallant effort by the ladies but sadly went home with just their bottle of wine and a massive round of applause from the house.
Which means the cash jackpot will rollover again next week!! Someone must win it.
