Thruple come out on top!

Nine teams took part in this evening's quiz. 'Throbbing Members' got the quickest anagram so won a pizza. 'The quiz team' (great name guys!) were ahead at the halfway stage, but only a few points separated them and a number of teams, and it was 'Thruple', you might want to Google it, (then again you might not), you out-sprinted everybody and picked up the £30 bar tab. 'Plug and pray' got themselves a can each for finishing second to bottom. Special mention must go to 'The Hazelhursts' who came up with the most inventive answer for George W Bush chocked on his words. Thruple and The Quiz Team both then went for the £50 jackpot but were unsuccessful, so it rolls over for next week. Always fun and always busy here on a Thursday evening at 7.30pm, see you there.
