'Do me in the Franny' are uncanny!

A sizeable seven teams took to the challenge of this weeks quiz at the Gipsy Hill Tap room, and it was looking like extra time might be needed at the end of the first twenty questions as drinks are on the house, (rather inventively getting me to say that one), Quiztal Palace Quiz pals, the topically named Quiz Gayle and Do me in the Franny all shared the lead, but with some inspired answers, including the first ones (and indeed the only ones) to get the anagram question right, Do me in the Franny picked up the £30 barter to go along with the two free anagram drinks question. They also got the nearest too question right and were one card away from picking up the £21 jackpot but just missed out meaning it rolls over for next week. Well done also to South Mob for second to bottom question meaning they pick up a can of beer for each of their party.
