There must have been a lot of tears on the way home tonight after an emotionally explosive night of grade one quizzing.
It was a game of sharp twists and turns.
Rank outsiders Make Pub Quizzes Great Again, seemed to leap out of nowhere and storm into first place, not giving a damn about the broken dreams they left behind in their bloody purge to the top.
They laughed the laugh of the Victor who had just won a £50 bar tab that could be spent over the next month.
