Hello everyone. my name is harry your new quizmaster for the Edinboro Castle for a brand new weekly pub quiz every tuesday at 7pm in the heart of Camden Town. Our opening night had the whole pub seated all full of players (52 people to be precise split into 12 different teams) from different ages, backgrounds etc but were all eager to win one of our luxurious prizes. Could our teams win a luxurious £50 bar and food tab, or a 2nd to last btl of wine. and opportunities to win a free drink throughout the night.

Our players this week were facing general knowledge questions from different angles of categories, examples are questions related to showbiz, drama, film, sport, culture, tourism, globetrotting and so much more in the world of general knowledge. also our quizzers had a cryptic questions being based on different band names and our anagram question was based on our quizzers finding a famous person behind a set of words. the cryptic and anagram questions is changed every week and so as our questions. we had the first ever creative round done too tonight, where this week our teams had to nominate 1 member from each team, to draw as many and as best they can of so many london landmarks they can draw in a 2:30min timeframe. trust me it was so successful and so many beautiful drawings of london!

At the end of all the fun and laughter and an enjoyable evening, our first ever winners went to the team called oh yes a mongoose who win overall out of the large number of people and win our prize-worthy tab. but that wasn't all. our birthday girl + fan club won the btl of wine for 2nd to last prize.

However, everyone tonight was winners because you took part in our first ever pub quiz launch here at the castle and it was a major success. I like to say thank you to everyone who played along and made the good times happen and i look forward to seeing you all again next week for more tricky and challenginjg questions.

So i have one question to ask. are you ready to take on the world of general knowledge to win you and your friends some lovely prizes? wanna great night out with all the banter and meet new friends and have a great night out before work the next morning?
