The Sun, The Birthday and The Quiz

A beautiful sunny day brought 6 teams to the East Hill this evening with players putting down their Pokemon Go apps and partaking in a wonderful pub quiz.
We had two teams who were neck and neck for the victory, Gary and The Dangling Modifiers (with birthday boy Owen as chief quizzers of the team). In the end it came to a stalemate with Owen and James from Gary battling it out in Rock, Paper, Scissors fashion. In the end Owen's birthday luck did not prevail and he came second place winning four drinks whilst Gary took away a bar tab of £50.
