God bless the random man who was debating taking part tonight (but didn’t). Yes sure, he’d had a few... bottles... of wine... BUT his gaze up at a trophy I’d never noticed was a magical moment: “Is that the quiz trophy?!” he questioned in wonder. There, gleaming on the shelf was a silver cup (pictured). “No, but you do get a £50 tab for 1st prize.” I explained. And that’s pretty much the end of this tale but do check back same time same place for another story :D
