Last night's quiz was like poetry in motion. A closely fought contest saw the teams' scores bunched like bananas. There were 8 teams from 'Trivia Newton John' (who won a bag of sweets for the name) through to 'Hucklebum, Tooting' in what quizmasters everywhere like to call a 'score ladder'. Consecutive scores. It was tight, like a tiger. By the end, though, S Club GDPRty (clearly love all those privacy emails we're all getting from estate agents and shops like HMV) won the £40 bar tab, going two points clear at the top. It was 'Tuppaware Team' who got the bottle of wine. The poetry was made complete by the team who came furthest from top - 'Quiztopher Walken' - who won the jackpot. £125. Cold. Hard. Cash. Top stuff.
