Despite a testy picture sheet, there was lots on offer at last night's Duchy Arms quiz, with Miley Cyrus, the lakes of Michigan and Chess were part of a good breadth of questions. Not even the Brazil-Serbia and Swiss-Costa Rica showdowns were enough to distract the quizzers. Meanwhile, given the heat, the free drinks went down extra easy. The scores, which were closely packed at half-time, only opened out slightly come to the final whistle. 'FQS' hit a good stride to take first-place, just ahead of 'Ginger n Juicy' and 'Parrface' just behind. In what was somewhat of a surprise to them, 'Quiztiano Ronaldos' got the bottle of wine. Despite a belter of a jackpot question (What is the world record number of rubber ducks owned by one person? 5,631!), the money went un-won. Cold hard cash up for grabs! :)
