Eight teams made it out this week, despite the horrible winter weather, to put their wits in a battle of brains and a chance to make Christmas come early, for the jackpot this week stood at an impressive £346!
A relatively smooth first half saw some high scores at the interval, with late-comers Jackie Big Tits taking a surprise lead, just half a point ahead of "Quizzed In My Pants!"
But as the second half got underway, and the drinks kicked in, late starters, "Sort Code 27-83-61" and "Dick-in-a-box" emerged as title contenders. "Ed, Pick A Name!" showed promise, but eventually the extra numbers proved futile and they fell away to a well-deserved 3rd place. In the end, just half a point separated the winners, and "Dick-in-a-box" took the prize of a £40.00 bar tab.
The jackpot question came last and "Quizzy Stardust" guessed closest to the number of stitches on a major league baseball (108 for future reference), but missed out on the grand prize.
