Packed House Again

Crowded tonight at the Draft House in Battersea with ten teams. Luckily I'd just printed enough picture sheets. Very noisy room with a team of Alpha males and a girl group of students. Lucky I know how to use my voice as well as when to pause for attention. Even with adjustments for extra players on several teams, last week's winners once again took first prize under a Harry Potter type name and also made it through to the Jackpot round but fell at the fifth fence, or card, going higher on an 8 and getting a 7. Very bad luck. Still it was as lovely and rowdy as always and I'll see you there next week with a hugely increased Jackpot. X
