The Octopods triumph in tiebreak tension!

The Octopods took the gold in a packed house at the Draft House Chancery Lane on Tuesday night, grabbing victory from Bells Bois in a tiebreaker finish to net the bumper January prize of a £100 bar tab. Bells Bois took home the runners-up prize of a bottle of wine, as well as claiming the free drink & bonus points in round 2.
Oedipus & The Motherfuckers took home the coveted second-to-bottom prize (beers this week), while Quizzard Of Oz won round 1's free drink and bonus points.
The creative round was won by The French. Teams were challenged to come up with a new TV show starring characters from two other TV genres, and amid strong (and sometimes filthy) competition, the bar staff awarded their philosophical duel between 'South Park's Timmy & Hoder from 'Game of Thrones' the bonus points.
Bonus points for funny wrong answers went to Quizzard Of Oz, My Type On Paper, and F.A.B. (whose creative round entry read simply "My team's too drunk")!
