Lethal Quizzle took the gold in a packed house at the Draft House Chancery Lane on Tuesday night. In a thrilling tiebreak finish against Alex's Angels, Lethal Quizzle lived up to their name, and left the Angels with the runners-up prize of a bottle of wine.
The free drinks and accompanying bonus points went to David Cameron Quizzes On Pigs (round 1) and Boris Johnson's Bastard Children (round 2).
Alex's Angels triumphed in the creative round. Teams were challenged to create & model a tinfoil Halloween costume, and amid strong competition (the staff found it very hard to pick a winner), the Angels's Wolverine-style single claw netted them the points.
David Cameron Quizzes On Pigs took the bonus point for funniest wrong answer, naming Stacey from 'Gavin & Stacey' as being played by Danny deVito. That's a show the quizmaster would like to see!
